I am an artist and energetic practitioner who shares the power of art with people across the globe. I believe art allows people to connect and communicate on an immeasurable level and I am passionate about guiding others in their journey in building their own art collection that enriches their homes and their lives.
As an artist, I am in direct communion with the unknown as I am able to see the unseen. Through astral projection and connecting into the subconscious during creation, I bring the unseen into the physical world to be seen in all its beauty.
Each of my paintings begins with a meditation on a particular subject or affirmation. Much influenced by nature, my surroundings, life situations and the global environment. While the meditative process guides me through the journey of creation, the paintings reach completion with a final Reiki charge that becomes a portal and energy source for the owner to connect with.
As an energetic practitioner, I open myself up to the healing energies of the Divine. I utilize all of my knowledge in sound healing, reiki healing and plant medicine to guide and support individuals and groups of people to a state of peace, expansion and love.
I was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. My family escaped Sarajevo during the Bosnian Genocide in 1992. Our family found refuge in Slovenia and I have immigrated to Germany and Minnesota all before the age of 11. Once I completed my double bachelors in Minnesota I moved to California. I knew that my journey was far from over and from all the places that I have lived, Los Angeles felt like my home since the first time I arrived to LAX.
Art is and always has been a way for me to communicate, even during the times that I couldn't speak due to the language barriers. After living in Los Angeles for a year, I found myself out of alignment, not happy, not satisfied with my career or the life I was living. Through mentoring children I found that the one thing I could and really wanted to teach them was to create art and express themselves through a visual form.
That brought me to a many hours of inner work that resulted in my art and energetic healing business. I continue to explore the vast mediums of art through my own work and the work of other artists. When I am not creating and expressing myself through my own art, I am consulting for other artists and galleries. I consider myself a guardian of art; I have guided numerous clients in finding the perfect artwork for their home or work environment. I have an extensive list of artists and galleries that are on the same mission to protect and nurture the creative force.
All artists run through a process of creation. What often stays unseen is their unique imprint and intention for the work. While we are similar in so many ways, we bring creativity to life in our own distinctive manner.
Here is my process of creation.
Allowing the flow to enter my mind and heart to expand me through creation of whatever I want is the key.
Through spiritual tools and practices I am able to enter a positive frame of mind to feel creative and inspired to begin a new painting. Every emotion is welcome in my process, even if I feel anger or frustration I know that it is part of my being and that it needs to be released and expressed.
Often times I visualize certain colors, movements, shapes and elements in my dreams and practices that spark my creativity. I select colors, crystals, and earth elements that resonate with certain healing remedies. This is the foundation for my journey of a painting.
When I’m painting I’m in a meditative state, paint is flying and splattering, crystals are sprinkled, herbs and plants fill the room and painting with comforting aromas. As I paint I often feel energy flow through me into my hands and towards the painting. There are moments when I pause and take in all that is happening, check in and reflect on whether the painting feels complete or not.
I sage the paintings and spray it with herbal mists to amalgamate into the paint. As the paint is drying I play high vibrational music to further infuse it with some loving energy.
The next day, once the paint and all the ingredients have settled I get to witness what I created. What started first as a vision, dream or color became a visual object. I really prefer and enjoy painting on large canvases, I feel as if I immerse myself entirely into the painting. And for a viewer I feel the healing impact is even greater, it permits the viewer to become one with the painting, open up the portal of imagination and enjoy a new and bigger experience.
I don't rush the process of an acquisition because I truly believe what is meant to be will be. I need to make certain that the painting ends up in the right hands. Without any doubt, every painting to this point is with its rightful owner. I wish that each person continues to enjoy the work for all the years to come.
May the painting evolve with them as they do.
